Where does this tour begin?
Your tour will meet at the Hotel El Andalous, Marrakech, at 6pm for a pre-departure meeting. Please try to attend this meeting as it is important to meet your guide and group and be given a briefing on the itinerary for the next 5 days.

Your tour ends after breakfast on the final day in Marrakech.
Busabout will arrange a free airport transfer for those passengers who arrive on the first day of the tour, or who have booked into our official pre-tour accommodation (Hotel El Andalous). All we need are your flight details, and our representative will be waiting with a Busabout Sign at the baggage collection/arrivals area once you pass through customs. If you encounter any problems, please call our local operations team (Brahim) on +212(0)661252381. Please note we need your arrival details at least 7 days prior to your tour departure in order to arrange your transfer. If you are staying in alternative accommodation, or arrive by land, you will need to make your own way to the Hotel El Andalous to start the tour.

Your trip includes 4-nights accommodation (3 nights 3-4* hotel in twin/triple rooms, 1 night Berber camp). Where possible, we try to place single travelers in same-sex rooms; be advised that there may be situations where a male and female must share a twin room. To upgrade to a private room, please see the 'extras' tab of MyTrip or contact us. All pre and post-tour accommodation can be booked through MyTrip.
Please note that the Tipping Fund is 30USD (or equivalent in local currency) and is payable to your guide at the start of the trip. Tipping and bartering can be a confusing ritual in Morocco for first-time travellers. How much is expected? Will I have enough small change? Travellers without a guide will be inundated with offers to help in the expectation of payment, therefore in order to maintain the smooth running of our trip the local tipping fund is distributed by your guide to those who provide services along the way. Please note this amount does not include a tip for the guide / driver, which is at your own discretion.
What do I need to bring?
We recommend bringing a sleeping bag, as it can get quite chilly in the Berber Camp.
Visas are not required for British, Australian, New Zealand, Canadian, US and other EU nationals for a stay of up to 3 months. Please ensure your passport is valid for six months after your return date and that you get your passport stamped upon entry into Morocco. All other nationalities should contact the Moroccan embassy for details.
All passengers must be fully insured for travel in Morocco. It is your responsibility to arrange travel insurance and you must bring the policy with you as it is obligatory for joining your tour. Please note that some optional activities may require additional cover.
Religious and cultural awareness
We cannot emphasise enough that we are travellers and therefore guests. Although we ourselves might have different views, ideas, rules or morals, it is our duty to respect and adjust where possible to the people of the region we are visiting. Morocco is predominantly Muslim and, as such, we would ask all of our customers to respect and adhere to (when appropriate) the dress codes of the Islamic faith. This entails the covering of shoulders and knees.
